You can click on a user group to see the permissions displayed on the screen in detail. ![]() When you select a folder, all user groups with access to the folder are displayed. The tree view allows you to navigate through the folder structure, looking at access rights of specific folders. NTFS Permissions Reporter furthermore displays scan errors in a log at the bottom of the screen. The results displays all user groups at the top, highlighting their rights on the drive or directory. This may take a while, depending on the amount of folders that need to be scanned, as well as the speed of the PC's hard drive, and other activities. Both the filter and email report options, while displayed in the interface, are reserved for users of the standard version of the application.Ī click on the run report button in the interface scans the selected directories and drives for user permissions.
